This year Pobis joined the “Veselo u školu” (Happy at School) project, which provides free exercise books to all primary school pupils in Koprivnica for the start of the new school year. The project marks its 20th anniversary this year, and by taking part Pobis once again contributed to an initiative focused on children, education and the local community.
This year’s project covered a total of 2,335 primary school pupils in Koprivnica, including 309 first-graders. A total of 44,280 exercise books were provided, divided into 2,498 sets with spare packs. The City of Koprivnica also allocated around 180,000 euros from its budget for free workbooks.

The “Veselo u školu” project is an example of successful cooperation between the City of Koprivnica and local businesses, and this year 14 sponsors and partners took part, including Pobis. Representatives of the companies and organisations that made the project possible received certificates of appreciation at a ceremony held at the “Braća Radić” Primary School.
For Pobis, taking part in projects like this is part of a responsible attitude towards the community in which the company operates and grows. Alongside continuous investment in our own production, industrial solutions and the knowledge and expertise of our employees, we consider it important to contribute to projects that create real value for the local community.
