On Friday, 16 July 2021, POBIS officially opened its new facility for the production and sale of abrasives in the “Dravska” business zone. The project was carried out through the City of Koprivnica’s measures to support entrepreneurship. The total investment in land, construction and machinery was around 4 million kuna.
Together with domestic and foreign partners, Pobis provides solutions and expert support in choosing the right abrasive tools and equipment for finishing in every branch of industry: the automotive and aviation industries, woodworking, metalworking, leather, glass and process industries, stainless steel production, joinery and locksmith workshops, hobbyists and many more.
“Together we had a clear goal: to build a recognisable company and bring everything under one roof – offices, warehouse and production. The offices are ready, the warehouse is nearly finished and the whole production line should be up and running by the end of this year,” said Boris Poljak, founder and managing director of POBIS, in his opening speech.
Pobis d.o.o. from Koprivnica has successfully produced and sold abrasive and polishing materials, equipment and tools for 5 years. The modern business and production hall covers 750 m2 and is located at Dravska 16, Koprivnica. It also houses the offices for the company’s current 6 employees.
“With this building we have completed a cycle of development that was planned for our first 5 years in business. What makes us happy is continued growth, expansion into new markets and new jobs in Koprivnica,” said Boris Poljak, managing director of Pobis.
